Terry Wright Elected to Fund for the Arts Board

LOUISVILLE, Ky.—Fund for the Arts has elected Stites & Harbison, PLLC attorney Terry Wright to its Board of Directors. He will serve a three-year term.
Fund for the Arts is a regional nonprofit committed to building a vibrant community through the power of the arts. The fund supports diverse arts organizations and initiatives with the mission of enhancing economic development, education and the quality of life for everyone by generating resources, inspiring excellence and creating community connections.
Wright is a Member (Partner) of Stites & Harbison and Chair of the Intellectual Property & Technology Service Group. He is a Registered Patent Attorney based in the Louisville, Ky., office whose practice focuses on designing and implementing intellectual property protection strategies. Wright has extensive experience advising clients ranging from small, privately held companies to multi-national, publicly traded companies. As part of his practice, he routinely focuses on multiple areas of intellectual property protection, including trademark and copyright issues, licensing agreements, and patent-related aspects of intellectual property, such as patent drafting, patent prosecution and counseling clients on infringement, validity and patentability.
Outside of the firm, Wright has numerous professional interests. He is a member of the Louisville Bar Association’s Intellectual Property Section, the American Intellectual Property Law Association and the Association of University Technology Managers. Additionally, Wright is a frequent author and speaker on a variety of intellectual property topics.
