Stites & Harbison Welcomes Five Attorneys to Kentucky and Georgia Offices

LOUISVILLE, Ky.—Stites & Harbison, PLLC announces the addition of five attorneys to the firm. Bailey Browning and Kyle Schroader join the Lexington, Ky., office, Ana England and Zac Losey join the Louisville, Ky., office and Evan Elam joins the Atlanta office.
Bailey M. Browning is a member of the Business & Finance Service Group. She earned her J.D. from the University of Kentucky J. David Rosenberg College of Law, summa cum laude and Order of the Coif, in 2022. In law school, Browning was one of the senior staff for the Kentucky Law Journal, Volume 110, and a staff editor for Volume 109. She published a Note in Volume 110, Book 4, and earned the Best Source & Cite – Leathers Article, Volume 109, Book 1; King Note, Book 4. She participated in Stites & Harbison’s summer associate program in 2020 and 2021. She is admitted to practice in Kentucky.
Kyle S. Schroader is a member of the Torts & Insurance Practice Group. He earned his J.D. from the University of Kentucky J. David Rosenberg College of Law, summa cum laude and Order of the Coif, in 2020. While in law school, Schroader was editor in chief of the Kentucky Law Journal, Volume 108, and earned the Stoll Keenon Ogden Best 2L Student Note Award. He also served as a board member of the LGBTQ+ Law Students Group. Prior to joining Stites & Harbison, he was a federal judicial law clerk for Judge Gregory F. Van Tatenhove, U.S. District Court, Eastern District of Kentucky from 2020-22. He also participated in Stites & Harbison’s summer associate program in 2018 and 2019. He is admitted to practice in Kentucky.
Ana I. England is a member of the Business Litigation Service Group. She graduated first in her class from the University of Louisville Brandeis School of Law, summa cum laude, in 2022. In law school, she served the University of Louisville Law Review as a notes editor of Volume 60 and a member of Volume 59. She was the Moot Court Board’s Vice President of Internal Competitions (2021-22) and Vice President of Public Relations (2020-21). Additionally, England was a member of the Women’s Law Caucus, Lambda Law Caucus and the Sports and Entertainment Law Society. She also was a research assistant for Professor Laura McNeal and a student ambassador. Her honors include membership in the Brandeis Honors Society (2020-21, 2021-22), Samuel L. Greenebaum Award for Excellence in Legal Writing, Meredith Book Award, George WM Moss Memorial Award, Dean’s Book Award and L. Leroy Highbaugh Sr. Award. Prior to joining the firm, England was a summer associate for Stites & Harbison in 2020 and 2021. She is admitted to practice in Kentucky.
Zachary Losey is a member of the Business Litigation Service Group. He earned his J.D. from the University of Kentucky J. David Rosenberg College of Law, magna cum laude, in 2021. In law school, he was a communications editor of the Kentucky Law Journal, Volume 109, and had a Note published in that volume. He assisted Professor Jonathan Shaub with research for a law review article on executive privilege published in the Duke Law Journal and Professor Joshua Douglas with an election law article published in the American University Law Review. Additionally, Losey was a member of the University Appeals Board. Prior to joining Stites & Harbison, he was a law clerk for Hon. Judge Karen K. Caldwell, U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Kentucky and a legislative aide to Lexington City Councilmember Kathy Plomin. Losey was a summer associate for Stites & Harbison in 2020 and 2021. He is admitted to practice in Kentucky.
Evan W. Elam is a member of the Torts & Insurance Practice Group. He earned his J.D. from the University of Pennsylvania Carey Law School in 2022. In law school, he earned the Wharton Certificate in Management and the Center on Professionalism Certificate in Technology. Elam was an associate editor of the Journal of Constitutional Law, Volume 23. He also volunteered for the Democracy Law Project (2019-21), Penn Law Immigrant Rights Project (2021-22) and Civil Practice Clinic (2021). He was also a member of Penn Law Lambda. Prior to joining the firm, he was a summer law intern at the First Court of Appeals in Houston in 2021. He also served as an intern for Judge Gregory F. Van Tatenhove, U.S. District Court, Eastern District of Kentucky in 2018. He is admitted to practice in Georgia.
