Stites & Harbison strengthens its Atlanta office

ATLANTA—Stites & Harbison, PLLC welcomes attorney Harold E. (Hal) Gill, Jr. to the Atlanta office. He is a Member (Partner) of the firm working in the Real Estate & Banking Service Group. Within the last 13 months, the Atlanta office has added three attorneys to enhance and grow its real estate practice — David Adams, Amy Baker and now Hal Gill.

Gill’s real estate practice includes concentrations in lending, development, condominiums and hospitality. He represents many local, regional and national banks throughout Georgia and the Southeast in closing loans secured by commercial real estate. He represents developers of retail, mixed-use, hotel and condominium projects throughout the United States. He has had extensive experience with the closing and subsequent development of large land assemblages for mixed-use projects. He also has experience in documenting condominium regimes for office parks, lofts, historic buildings and mixed-use developments with multiple associations. Additionally, he has been involved in numerous hotel closings throughout the United States and in a variety of matters involving the development, sales and leasing of resort hotel-condominiums.
Outside of the firm, Gill is actively involved in a variety of civic, charitable and church activities, including: Presbyterian deacon and elder, youth sports coach and member of school booster clubs.
Gill earned his J.D. from the University of Georgia School of Law. Prior to joining Stites & Harbison, he was a Partner with Taylor English Duma LLP where he was co-chair of the Lending and Corporate Finance Group, and Smith, Gambrell & Russell, LLP.
