Nashville Business Journal Names Rebecca McKelvey Castaneda to 2021 List of 40 Under 40

NASHVILLE, Tenn.—The Nashville Business Journal recently announced that Stites & Harbison, PLLC attorney Rebecca McKelvey Castañeda has been named to the 2021 list of 40 Under 40. A panel of 10 past winners served as judges to review more than 300 nominations and selected the 40 honorees this year.

The 40 Under 40 awards honor exceptional young professionals under the age of 40 who are making significant contributions in the Nashville community through their leadership and community involvement.

Castañeda is a Member (Partner) of the firm based in the Nashville and Franklin, Tenn., offices. She works exclusively in family law with an emphasis in international family law, especially parental child abductions from country to country. Castañeda has significant experience with cases brought under the 1980 Hague Convention on the Civil Aspects of International Child Abduction and the International Child Abduction Remedies Act. In addition to her international family law work, she also represents clients in Tennessee family law.

Outside of the firm, Castañeda is active in the local community. She currently serves on the Board of Trustees for Belmont University, is past-president of Belmont University Alumni Board of Directors and is past-chair of the Tennessee Justice Center’ Board of Directors.
